Marketing Officer
Based in Cambridge
Responsibilities and tasks
- Event management – organising marketing events, conference participating, customer events.
- PR support – assisting with the collection of information for press releases, proofing and coordinating with the PR agency on release and follow-up.
- Mail marketing – manage a regular programme of email communications to staff and customers
- Website – manage content, co-ordinate introduction of new features, collect and report on statistics, ensure web-site is aligned with other marketing activities and initiatives.
- Documentation – act as publisher of all out-bound publications.
- Collateral – manage all customer collateral.
- Market Intelligence – maintain library of third-party market analysis products and produce quarterly summary.

- Previous experience of managing marketing projects from inception to completion
- Proven experience of managing external providers, including PR agencies, publishers and graphics / marketing communications providers
- Previous experience of budget management
Desirable
- Previous responsibility for events management
- Experience of the telecoms sector

- Excellent interpersonal skills, can build meaningful relationships within a short period of time and across functional / geographical boundaries
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Able to work under pressure and to tight timescales.

- Flexibility - The jobholder must, on occasion, be willing to work long hours if the needs of the company require it.
- Must be able to travel, including overseas if necessary
