Senior RF Planner
Based in Cambridge
Objectives
Undertake Radio planning for PMP networks.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Liaise with Sales Team and Customers to define the scope of work for a planning project and
ensure that all the necessary inputs, in terms of data, are provided
Undertake the modelling activity
Document the results in a comprehensive and professional manner and if required present the
results to the customer directly.
Develop Product specific models and guidelines to support customers who have their own tools
and wish to model our product range
Person specification
Experience
Essential
- Good understanding of Radio wave propagation
- Good experience of using RF planning tools for planning Line of Sight microwave links
- Understanding of relevant ITU-R recommendations for LoS link availability
calculations
Desirable
- Knowledge of Visual Basic for Excel

- Excellent communicator and team worker
- Mature, self motivated and organised.
Personal Circumstances
- The jobholder must, on occasion, be willing to work long hours if the needs of the
company require it
- Must also be able to travel, including overseas if necessar.
- Live within commuting distance of Cambridge
